Sanctions, Export Controls, and Restricted Jurisdictions

ADE Sanctions, Export Controls, and Restricted Jurisdictions Policy

Autonomous Digital is committed to compliance with applicable trade laws, sanctions regimes, export controls, and similar restrictions. This Policy is incorporated into the ADE Terms and Conditions and forms an integral part of your agreement with Autonomous Digital.

1. General Compliance Obligation

You may not access, use, export, re-export, transfer, distribute, make available, or permit access to the Service in violation of applicable sanctions, export controls, trade restrictions, anti-boycott laws, or other applicable trade compliance requirements.

2. Restricted Persons and Restricted Jurisdictions

You represent and warrant, on a continuing basis during your use of the Service, that neither you, nor any of your beneficial owners, administrators, users, contractors, affiliates using the Service, nor any other persons authorized by you to use the Service on your behalf, is:

  • a person or entity that is the subject or target of sanctions,
  • owned or controlled by a sanctioned person or entity,
  • located in, ordinarily resident in, organized in, or acting on behalf of a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction or other jurisdiction subject to applicable legal restrictions on access to or use of the Service, except to the extent access is lawfully authorized. You may not use the Service in or for any such jurisdiction, or provide access to the Service in or for any such jurisdiction, unless expressly authorized in writing by Autonomous Digital and permitted by law.

3. Export Controls

The Service may be subject to applicable export control laws and regulations. You may not use, export, re-export, release, or transfer the Service, software, technical data, or related materials except as permitted by those laws and regulations.

4. Military and Defense Restriction

Without Autonomous Digital's prior written authorization, the Service may not be used for military, defense, intelligence, weapons, munitions, battlefield, or other operational government security applications, whether directly or indirectly.

5. Screening and Cooperation

Autonomous Digital may screen accounts, transactions, usage patterns, counterparties, or jurisdictions for sanctions, export control, fraud, or legal compliance purposes. You agree to provide information reasonably requested by Autonomous Digital and reasonably necessary to support a compliance review. Autonomous Digital may decline, block, or delay account creation, transactions, renewals, configuration changes, or continued access to the Service pending completion of a compliance review where reasonably necessary.

6. Suspension and Termination

If Autonomous Digital reasonably believes that your use of the Service may violate sanctions, export controls, trade restrictions, or this Policy, Autonomous Digital may suspend, restrict, or terminate access immediately where reasonably necessary. Autonomous Digital may also suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary if you fail to cooperate with a compliance review or fail to provide information reasonably requested for sanctions or export control verification.

7. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for determining whether your use case, end users, counterparties, jurisdictions, and configurations comply with this policy, all applicable sanctions, export control laws, and trade restrictions. This includes, without limitation, sanctions and export control regimes administered by the United States, including those enforced by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), as well as applicable regimes of the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other relevant authorities. You must independently verify that your use of the Service, and the jurisdictions in which the Service is accessed or used, are permitted under such laws and regulations.
